STEPHEN CROWHURST

FREE THE DEPARTMENT

Stephen Crowhurst also known as FTD or Free The Department is a Canadian Artist/Art Director/ Designer/Illustrator, currently residing in Toronto. Stephen was educated at the Ontario College of Art and Design, with a major in Experimental Painting. His work has been exhibited in Australia, Canada, Germany, Italy, Paris, Spain, Tel Aviv, and the United States. To this day art is a fundamental foundation to his design and illustration practice.

Magic Pony presents new paintings by MARS1, the launch of 4 Words, a collection of illustrative works by four San Francisco artists and the MARS-1 limited edition vinyl figure produced by Strangeco.

GROUP EXHIBITION

Premiering the art anthology Regal Beast II and an exhibition showcasing artwork of all artists involved, from canvas to soft sculpture to printed matter. As a special treat, the infamous Leather Uppers and Dating Service will be performing at the launch party.

NATHAN JUREVICIUS

FORESTS HAVE FEELINGS TOO

Magic Pony is proud to present Forests have Feelings Too - Nathan Jurevicius' first North American solo exhibition. The exhibit will highlight Nathan’s entire line of vinyl figures and artwork ranging from hand-drawn sketches to original canvases. In addition to this, Magic Pony and Nathan will be releasing a special figure set at the opening.

KOZYNDAN

LACTAID DREAMS

This exhibition premieres Lactaid Dreams, Kozyndan's second book and showcases original pencil illustrations from the colouring book, large panoramics and painted pieces on wood & paper. Their digitally painted pencil drawings reflect the dichotomy of being at once in love with and repulsed by the rampant urban sprawl, technology and the disconnection with the natural world so many people are faced with today.
