Spirited Away is a fantasy film directed by Hayao Miyazaki that was released in 2001. The film is about Chihiro, a 10 year old girl who is moving with her family into a new neighborhood. Along the way, her parents insist on stopping in a quite area to grab some food. They stumble into a magical world, that’s also filled with evil spirits. With help from her friend Haku, she sets out to save her parents from the evil creatures. Hayao Miyazaki is the founder of Studio Ghibli and is considered one of most influential animators in the history of cinema.
