Information
What is a trading party?
A trading party is an event where a group of collectors come together and trade doubles, extras, pieces of art and other collectibles in order to complete their collections or capture elusive items.
About Magic Pony Trading Parties
- Magic Pony Trading Parties will take place on a monthly basis, outside of store hours.
- News about upcoming trade events will be posted here (www.magic-pony.com/tradingclub).
- During our trading parties, concessions will be available to all of our guests.
- Bring your kids, bring your friends! There is no cost to attend.
- Trading parties are not limited to any particular item or brand. See our list of What to Bring for more ideas.
- If you have any suggestions for the staff members on how we can help to faciliate better trades or improve our events, please let us know!
Trading Guidelines
- Please remember that we only have a limited amount of space to work with. Bring along the items you are most keen on getting rid of, but be sure to make a list of everything that you may have left at home.
- Keep a list of the items you are after so you can stay on track when the mayhem begins.
- Try to find out out what all your toys are worth beforehand. Nobody wants to be taken advantage of. (Remember, Magic Pony cannot be held responsible if you come out on the wrong end of a deal.)
- Trading is all about negotiating and making deals. If someone offers you a raw deal, try to turn it into a good one.
- People are more likely to go after items that are in good condition. Having the packaging is not necessary, but it can help to protect your investments!
- These parties are all about having fun and making friends, so for the love of Pony, please play nice!
