Laurels are evergreens, and have signified victory and principle since time immemorial. The designers over at Erica Weiner Jewelry found a flat decorative charm (from the 70's?) and hammered it into a circle to create a ring shape. It's simple and lovely with a thin profile, so it's easy to wear every day. There's an opening at the back where the edges don't quite meet. Also, it's SLIGHTLY flexible, so you can bend it open and closed a bit to fit half-sizes.
Erica Weiner Jewelry is a grassroots company that was started in 2005 between Erica and co-founder Lindsay Salmon. Inspired by their travels, each piece draws on vintage materials, curiosities in nature, and are designed with a tongue-and-cheek sense of humour. All of their jewelry is 100% handmade in New York City and each line has an emphasis on craftsmanship and affordability. Erica Weiner Jewelry's packaging is also environmentally conscious and a percentage of profits are donated to various charities.
