I Can Be Your Dream is a small press publication of what the author, River Jukes-Hudson, has dubbed accidental poetry by twenty-one Russian brides to be. Each page features a personal advertisement found on a Russian singles website where some hopeful bride-to-be is describing herself and what she wants from a relationship in varying degrees of broken english. The resulting statements are at times beautiful, funny, and even heartbreaking in their translated sincerity.
