MARS-1 (Mario Martinez) landed in Toronto May 27 to a packed audience. This show was MARS-1’s first Canadian exhibit and was also the launch of the MARS-1 ltd. Ed. figure in blue and the book ‘4 Words’. The artwork presented was amazing. MARS-1 combined paint with pen and ink to create organic pieces with beautiful details and an underlying sci-fi feel. This event was our favourite yet, with so many good people in attendance and an incredibly positive response to the show. Many thanks to Mario for the awesome artwork and for making the trip up North. Also thanks to STRANGEco and Jim for flying out to represent, Tiger Beer and Helen for the drinks, DJ Rob Judges for the music, Tania for the delectable dishes, Hanne the bar babe, Marty the muscle, Hodgson our Toronto ambassador and all of our friends and neighbors who came out and supported.
